Valencia; too much to mention!
We fell in love with Valencia because of the beach, the great food, the weather and ofcourse as being Dutch, the great network of bicycle lanes the city offers. The city is small but rich of all kinds of cultural, culinary and sporty activities to do. Valencia is one big playground for kids and adults; parks, beach, musea. Valencia; too much to mention!
Within Valencia we found our spot in the historical fishermen´s neigberhood of Cabanyal. A neigberhood which is colourful in buildings, cultures and nationalities. It´s location is great as you are at a stone mark away from beach and harbour.

MERCADO CABANYAL – Carrer de Martí Grajales 4 – Open market place – great selection of all what Spain gastronomy has to offer. Buy all your needs for tapas and cooking at the apartment – THIS IS LIVING, THIS IS CABALICIOUS!
CASA GUILLERMO – Carrer del Progres 15 – Spanish cantina. Traditional, cozy restaurant. Speciality on Ancho fish and the rich tomato dishes.
CAL LA MAR – Carrer de Just Vilar 19 – Spanish cantina. Delicious small dishes of fish, meat and vegetarian flavors.
CASA MONTAÑA - Carrer de Josep Benlliure 69 – Bar, Restaurant and Vinoteca. The big wine barrels mark the bar. A large offering of delicious tapas. You can sit in the formal dining area or enjoy the lively bar.
EL VIENTO BAR - Carrer de l'Església del Rosari 8– Restaurant & Bar. The menu offers some very good meat dishes like a classic burger, oven roasted patatoes and butter soft grilled meat. El viento regularly offers live-music.
PANNES BAKERY & COFFEE - Carrer de Just Vilar 7 – Not into making your breakfast at home; visit this place for a good coffee and breakfast.
HORNO PASTELERIA MILA DE LA VALLE – Carrer Jose Benlliure 71 – Authentic bakery – get your warm bread here for a homemade breakfast at the apartment.
VIVA NAPOLI – Calle de la Reina 60 – Italian restaurant. Very nice authentic oven baked pizzas. Bellisimo!
LA MAS BONITA – Carrer d'Escalante 24-34 – LMB has 3 branches in Valencia. City centre, Cabanyal and at Playa Patacona. Trendy place for coffee, cakes, lunch or dinner. Delicious mix of healthy, sweet and tasteful cakes, salads and sandwiches. Highly popular among tourists.
ZENI KEBAB – Carrer de Just Vilar 36 – Turkish restaurant. Good quality kebab to enjoy after a night of ´beers and copas´.
MALAFAMA – Carrer Fransesc Cubells 75 – Great bar for beers, pinxos and tapas – nice terrace. Brazilian, Argetenan flavours.
MARINA BEACH - Carrer Marina Real Juan Carlos I, s/n – Bar, Restaurant and Open air Nightclub at the Harbour site. Enjoy summer vibes, music and good looking, happy people. A very nice place to enjoy drinks and food overlooking the sea. Stay after mid-night for some good club vibes.
AQUARELA PLAYA - Carrer Eugenia Viñes 152 – Open Air Dance Club located right at the beach of Cabanyal. ´Dance your heart out´ on the dance floor or VIP deck overlooking the Mediterranean sea.
ESTRELLA DEL MAR – Carrer de Just Vilar 38 – Great sandwiches, drinks and a fresh design all served by very friendly personnel.
CAFETARIA MONTAÑANA – Carrer de la Barraca 78 – Another nice place to have breakfast and enjoy the terrace.
